First Shield ☆ Video
[Since Steve had arrived in Somarium, he had spent his time trying to adjust not only to this new world, but this new time. Coming from 1944 to a modern age was definitely not easy, but he was doing...well, well enough, especially with the help of Tony.
And now he was finally giving his Dreamberry a try.
...
Yeah, the feed's upside down. But fortunately he realized it pretty fast, flipping it over with a sheepish grin.]
Sorry. First time, uh, using this...thing. [He rubs the back of his head for a second, then he gets a bit more serious. He was on a mission, after all.]
First off, I'd like to ask. Is there a tailor anywhere around here? I have a suit I need fixed up. [His poor Captain America suit. It sure got beat up in that plane crash.]
Secondly, is there....a place to buy motorcycles? I kinda miss my Harley. [It wasn't the only thing he missed, but he was trying not to think too much on Peggy right now. And since he couldn't get drunk still, what better way to keep his mind off things than by getting a motorcycle?]

I'll be waiting for you in front of the building so you don't miss it.
[And Desmond nods curtly before hanging up.]
[ooc: Action thread here?]

[He nods in return, then hangs up as well.
It wasn't much later that he arrived in front of what he believed to be the right apartment building. He checked his Dreamberry again and compared the address just to be sure, then glanced around, trying to spot the man he was there to meet. He was a little early, but he was willing to wait if he had to.]

Hey. I'm Desmond, by the way. [He offers his hand to shake]

Steve Rogers. Nice to meet you, Desmond.

Likewise, Steve. [He then starts to walk towards the garage, unlocking his own. He pulls up the door and reveals two motorbikes: the one he bought for himself and the one Kara left in his care when she returned home.]
Here it is. I hope it's to your taste?
no subject
May I? [He wanted a closer look, but already, he was impressed. This was a nice bike, for sure.]
no subject
Yeah, sure! [He throws the keys at Steve] She's got a nice purr with her 100hrp. She keeps the road well too.
no subject
Not bad. [Once done looking over the details, he throws his leg over it, putting in the keys and turning the engine on. Man did this bike sound nice.]
no subject
You're welcome to take her for her spin if you want. She hasn't been out in a while.

[Desmond is already straddling his own bike. He does intend to follow Steve, not out of lack of trust for the other man, but simply because he wants to see how the soldier is going to handle the Harley. He starts his motorcycle, the engine reeving to a higher, more nervous pitch. It's clear that his is made for speed. He slips on his helmet and waits for Steve]

After a quick glance to Desmond, he hit the gas and started the bike out of the garage. Already, he was loving it. But part of that could have arguably been that he had just really missed riding on one.]

He wanted this bike. So badly.]
