[Steve woke before the soldiers could continue to taunt him. He sighed, running a hand through his hair after a moment.]

Wouldn't be surprised. Pretty sure it was designed like that on purpose. Wanted the public to have a 'hero' to look up to, I guess.

[He's not one to go out of his way to say he's a hero. He's not like that. So he's just...a little awkward as he rubs the back of his head.]

At first? Captain America was the hero, not me. Films, comics - those things weren't me. They were just made up stuff to boost morale during the war.
