[Steve woke before the soldiers could continue to taunt him. He sighed, running a hand through his hair after a moment.]

Singing, huh? 'Least that was something you enjoyed. I never wanted to be on the stage. Always wanted to be a soldier, they just never would let me for a while. [At first, but he finally got his wish!]

[A chuckle.] Yeah, well. Think that was pretty obvious.

[He nods now.] I did, yeah. Took a while, and I had to go behind the Colonel's back to do so, but...they finally let me do something a bit more useful. Got to lose the tights, too.
